Brenda fell in love with the breed over 14 years ago.  Her first JRT is named Daytona.  Her other dogs are Saleen, Catera, Prowler, Mustang, and her special needs little guy, Dover.  She also has a blind Red Heeler, Alero.  She loves to get out and hunt her terriers whenever she can and travels to a few trials.  She also runs the Jack Russell Terrier Rescue of Colorado.  Brenda has been doing so for eight plus years.  Besides the dogs, She loves to dabble in photography, engrave on glass and eggs, and do lots of crafty things.  Brenda looks forward to meeting you and your dogs.

Sean got her first JRT, “Parker” as partial payment for horse training, 12 years ago.  She acquired her second “terriorist”, “Xander” at a horse show 6 months later.  JRTs have been an incurable disease for her ever since.  In addition to fostering and rehabbing “rescue jacks”, Sean is a horse professional (training hunters and jumpers) and works full-time at the CSU Veterinary Medical Center, treating small animal orthopedic patients and training veterinary students and surgical residents.  “I love everything about the terriers…their independence, their feisty personalities, their toughness…and I LOVE how much fun they have at the fundays and trials.  The dogs don’t know anything about ribbons or trophies.  They just know they are getting to do what they are hardwired to do and they love it.  I especially enjoy bringing new people to the breed; educating them about how to channel and enjoy the drive and intensity of the JRT.

Jennifer is an outdoor enthusiast and loves the companionship of her JRTs.  As often as possible she hikes with her dogs in the forest surrounding her home.  Form more than 25 years, she has worked in the accounting field, currently she is the accounting manager in a medical office.  Being with her dogs at home, hiking, at a Funday, or at a trial is her idea of a great day.  Join her at a Funday and see for yourself.

After 28 years of teaching Theatre and Language Arts, Janine is now doing all those things she never had time to do while grading papers and directing plays.  Her involvement with the RMJRTN began when she acquired the feisty little Legendary Bandida almost six years ago.  Since then, she has adopted the lovable yet spunky Comet.  She spends most of her time working part time as the TLC Volunteer Coordinator at the Longmont Humane Society and volunteering as a Canine Coach with the Behavior and Training Department at the shelter.

Jodi is a Hunter Jumper horse trainer by profession with a degree in Biology.  Dogs have been a large part of her life forever. In her early 20’s for about 10 years, she was a handler with AKC until a desire to stay home more led her down the road that she is now on.  Jodi has owned Jacks for many years since horses and Jacks seem to go hand in hand.  Not until recently has she become involved in JRTCA and trials.  She has served on several boards for both local and national organizations with the horses, as well as 501C3 local groups.  Jodi would say that she is best at implementation.  She likes to get ideas from the creative people in a group and figure out what steps need to be taken to turn them into reality.  She can’t say what aspect of Jack Russell Trials she enjoy most.  Probably GTG.  But at the end of the day what is the best is having her Lucy dog curled up on her lap, content to be nothing more than her best friend.

RMJRTN 2010 BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Noel is brand new to the Jack Russell Terrier  World.  A little over a year ago, Noel and his wife Vicki took a rescue terrier, Tess, home just for the weekend and she never left.  In that time, Noel his wife and their little terrier, have been busy exploring fun days, trials and working their terrier as a certified therapy dog.  Tess continues to bring many smiles to their growing family.
Shortly after their first fun day, Noel found himself wanting  to help out with the days events.  Noel accepted a position as a board member to eagerly learn more about the terrier world and  to ensure year round safety and fun for those whom attend Rocky Mountain Terrier Events.  Noel has been a Denver Mechanical Contractor for the past ten years and currently is finishing his solar degree.
